What a year it's been! My husband began the year with lung cancer (he hasn't smoked in almost 30 years). They had to do surgery and chemo. Then they pronounced him cured and told him to see a heart Dr. ASAP. The heart Dr. found Del had 99% blockage in his main artery. Throw in COVID and you've got a pretty good picture of what our year has looked like. I still managed to get a book published though. It's called Hill House Manor: 13 Ghost Stories. The stories  are inspired by Hill House Manor, our haunted house. It isn't horror by any means, but some of the stories will give you chills while one or two might even make you cry. And there are clowns...

Last September (2019) FINDING UP was published. This is a non-fiction self-help book. If you've ever wished you had someone to help you get your life together. Here's your book. Life really does go up and down. It's not your imagination. There is a step by step process to move up. You'll find it in this book.

Our cat is fine and we plan on doing some travelling the rest of this year and next. Covid or not. It may affect HOW we travel, but it won't determine IF we travel.

I have three books in progress right now. two children's and one Madam Celeste. I'm itching to do something dystopian. We'll see.

Thank you for continuing to read my books. I do a happy dance for every book that sells. It's what kept me going through 2020. lol

Stay safe. Wash your hands and have a wonderful Halloween.

Linda

Sunday
It's Sunday evening. I haven't touched my Work In Progress today, the sequel to The Anchor is the Key. That's only partly true. I'm working out a plot twist in the back of my mind. It can go in several directions and I'm working through them mentally.

There is music wafting from my husband's studio upstairs. He's putting the final touches on a new original song. It's sounding pretty good from here.

My passport has expired and we're planning to go to Canada this year, so tomorrow I'll be at the Post Office starting the process to get a new one. It expired over 5 years ago, so I have to go in person. Let's hope they don't make me turn in my old one. It is a piece of memorabilia that I don't want to lose.

There was a huge Paranormal investigation with two psychics doing readings at Hill House Manor Saturday night.

They had a great time and most wanted to know when they could come back. If you've ever wanted to be in a real haunted house, this place should be on your bucket list. Check out Hill House Manor the Guest Book for more details.

Today I discovered, or at least noticed, that Branden's Ghosts: The First Hunt has no feedback on Goodreads. It made me feel sorry for poor little Branden. He's such a cutie and his ghost stories are just fun to read. He has 16 comments on Amazon, but nothing on Goodreads. If you have read it and feel up for it, maybe at least rate the book, if not review it.

We are working on a new cover for The Anchor is the Key. This one is okay, but I want to convey that it's a Cozy Mystery with the cover and the current version doesn't do that.

Sunday is usually a pretty productive day for me, but lazy is the word of the day today. The WIP will wait until tomorrow. Perhaps sleeping on it will give me an idea of where to take this new plot twist.
